A Derby Patch Mark figural group, The Prudent Mother, No. 138, modelled as a seated mother holding a toddler, square plinth base moulded in relief with laureate swags to each edge and floral bosses at angles, the white ground picked out in gilt throughout, 22cm high, incised numbering and asterisk, c.1775; a pair of Derby Patch Mark figures, of a shepherd and shepherdess, he seated wearing feathered headdress, fanciful dress, dog by his side, playing the bagpipes, she seated wearing a ribboned bonnet, a lamb at her feet, before bocage, pierced scroll bases, picked out in gilt, 19cm high, c.1770
