A Derby Named-View topographical Bute-shaped cabinet cup, View near Matlock, Derbyshire, probably painted by Thomas 'Jockey' Hill, canary yellow ground, gilt borders enclosing laurels and berries, loop handle, 6cm high, titled in blue script, crown, crossed batons and dots over D in blue, gilder's puce number 8 for William Longdon, impressed V within the footrim, c.1795; a Chelsea Derby chamberstick, tulip shaped sconce, painted with flowers within scroll moulded border, picked out in gilt, leaf shaped tray, leafy scroll handle, blue feathered borders, 16cm wide, c.1770; an early Derby bell-shaped coffee cup, painted in polychrome enamels with a goldfinch on a leafy branch, wishbone handle, iron red rim, 6cm high, c.1758 [3]
