US 1860 Pattern Light Cavalry Sabre with curved fullered single edged blade 806mm in length, makers marked to the ricasso "Emerson & Silver, Trenton" and on the opposite side "NJ 1865". Felt washer present. Blade has been painted matt black. Brass D shaped guard. Leather bound grip missing most of grip wire. Overall length 940mm. Complete with scabbard with twin suspension rings painted black.

Tip of blade is missing. Black paint to blade could easily been removed if desired. A few edge nicks to blade.
