A George III silvered metal-mounted mahogany, parquetry and marquetry country house partner's desk stand, centred by a silvered metal-mounted cut glass pounce pot and flanked by two ink wells conforming, the swing handle cast with beading en suite, either side with dished provision for pens, the top outlined with barberpole stringing, skirted frieze above one long drawer, ring and navette handle, the plinth base inlaid with alternating borders of ebony and satinwood stringing, 14.5cm high, 35cm wide, c. 1810
