Imperial Russian Shaska Cossack sword M1881 with fullered single edged blade 780mm in length, inspection marked and Zlatoust arms factory marked for 1903. Leather washer to blade. Wooden grips with brass pommel which is again inspection marked. Overall length 915mm. Complete with oilcloth bound wooden scabbard with brass fittings.

Throat to scabbard is loose with one screw missing and wooden beneath is worn away. Overall good issued condition. Blade has old rust pitting.
