An early 20th century Chinoiserie dwarf longcase clock, 14.5cm silvered dial inscribed with Arabic numerals, twin-winding holes, eight-day movement striking on a gong, the case japanned in the eighteenth century taste with Chinese figures in traditional flowing robes, contemplating nature's beauties in stylized monumental landscapes of pagodas, bridge and garden structures amongst rocky outcrops, prunus, willow trees, further foliage and ho-ho birds, serpentine pediment above a pair of columnar pilasters, bevel glazed door, cockbeaded case, rectangular plinth, 123.5cm high, c.1920
