French 1842 Yataghan Pattern Bayonet with single edged fullered blade 574mm in length. Spine of blade is maker marked for Impériale de Châtellerault and dated 1864 along with pattern date. Many inspection markings. Brass grip with working release catch. Overall length 695mm. No scabbard. Along with another example with 572mm long single edged fullered blade, maker marked and dated to spine of blade Châtellerault 1849. Brass grip with different pattern release catch to the previous example. Working release catch. Overall length 695mm. No scabbard. Both in very clean condition. (2)
