Local history – A serries of cuttings albums, containing a considerable amount of local historic material contained in seven albums, landscape small 4to tied red boards and one other bound half black cloth over blue boards, small 4to, the latter containing neatly cut out copies of the Derby Evening Telegraph series ‘The Changing Face of Derby’ (1960s to 1970s) 88 in all. The other includes three albums of Kenneth Eyre black ink drawings of Derby and Derbyshire scenes, including many country houses, villas, etc., all neatly cut from the Derby Evening Telegraph published 1940s to 1950s for which they formed a long-running series; one other album also includes similarly sourced drawings by Harold Gresley and A. Broomfield. Three further albums contain photographic views of Derby, many unfamiliar and several others of vanished scenes, all cut from issues of the Derby Evening Telegraph. (8)
