Ridgway from Abby A. Crawford, August 1864, the lower margin of the Medieval inspired flowering border with verse, the composition in watercolour, gouache and gold leaf, the text pp: 37 card leaves chromolithograph printed in the Gothic Revival Medieval taste with Biblical passages, verse and prose within floral borders, each tissue-guarded, contemporary ?Irish olive morocco binding, the covers with an inlaid red morocco border gilt with trailing flowering leafy stems, the angles applied with raised ivorine cabachon bosses, the gilt lettered spine conforming, all edges gilt, gilt turn-ins and dentelles, white moiré endpapers, 4to, [1] Provenance: the Ridgway family, of Blenheim House, Ballymaclode, County Waterford, Ireland, illuminated presentation leaf.
