Rowbottom's Album, drawn and coloured frontispiece of Calliope, Chief of the Muses, serenading a trinity of lofty putti, the ground strewn with deskstand, a roll of sheet music and a book of poetry, within a Picturesque landscape, by J. Richardson, signed, pasted with clipped manuscript autographs of the royal sign-manuals of George III (2) and George IV [3], original prose and verse composition, with selected prose and verse passages from esteemed literature, coloured botanical still lives, some applied with scissor-cut butterflies, pasted exotic birds, cards and further ephemera, including a printed invitation to luncheon following the Lord Bishop of Manchester laying a corner stone in 1854, further still lives, including shells, pen and ink study of shooting dogs, etc., embossed black leather, titled front board, raised banding to spine, 8vo
