British Airborne Denison Smock 1959 pattern. Full length zip fastner in working order. Newey press stud fastners to pockets and Ape tail all in working order. Knitted cuffs. No label. Good issued example which has evidence of Clp's stripes to one sleeve now removed. Paratroopers qualification wings to sleeve and red backed cloth Kings Crown Major's rank insignia to the shoulder straps. Interesting features with earlier 46 pattern material to the zip fastner and a later repair to the collar using DPM pattern material. These smocks had a long service life from the 1960's and into the early 1980's. Colours to the material are good and not faded. Two Ink stamps to interior lower edge "AN090294". Good large size.
