This fixture was the first match at The Empire Stadium, Wembley. The match ended in a 2-0 win to Bolton Wanderers with goals from David JACK and Jack SMITH. The official attendance for the Final Tie was 126,047 but it was estimated that nearly 300,000 spectators gained entrance. King George V was in attendance for the match and awarded the trophy to the winning team after the final whistle.
