A charming and very well-cast classical two-tier cast iron garden fountain with pond, in the Georgian manner, with a putto (cherub) figure at the summit clutching a spread-winged goose or swan, water would traditionally jet from the bird's beak into the upper bowl, the fountain sits on two generous scallop-edged bowls with gadrooned decoration, the lower bowl being particularly wide and shallow, the central column and base are boldly cast, 220cm high, lower bowl approx. 110cm diameter, 325kg, an extremely popular design that sits beautifully against planting or placed as a garden centrepiece, water pumps are not provided; mains or solar powered systems can be arranged for you, at extra cost, please enquire for delivery at Windsor Classical Gardens, professional installation recommended.
