A George III oak and mahogany longcase clock, 30cm arched painted dial inscribed with Arabic numerals, the arch painted with a Chinaman beside a Pagoda, subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture, twin winding holes, eight-day movement striking on a bell, the unusual case with swan neck pediment, and brass ball and spire finials, brass capped Corinthian columns, arched rectangular door to waist, inlaid with fan patera and outlined with boxwood stringing, 226cm high, c.1800
