British 1949 Pattern Officers Battledress Blouse with Lt's rank insignia and machine woven 48th Infantry Division formation signs. Leather football buttons to pockets and shoulderstraps. Size 10. Maker marked and dated "Alfred Polikoff, Wales, Ltd, 1955". Along with matching size 10 1949 pattern BD trousers, maker marked and dated "Clifford Williams & Son Ltd 1954". Map pocket has been reomoved from the side of the leg. Often done by officers to make the uniform smarter. This uniform belonged to Sir Charles Wolsey and came direct from his estate but is not named.
