A pair of Derby shaped circular plates, from the Duke of Northumberland service, painted by Edward Withers, in the Sevres style, with pink roses and five smaller sprigs, light blue border honeycomb border in gold and raised white enamel, with three oval reserves with panels of pink roses, 25.5cm diam, crown and D mark in blue, 1775 - 1780

Overall good condition, some scratches and surface wear as expected, affecting gilding and decoration. No cracks or restoration. Some firing and decorating blemishes to verso. A touch of pitting.
