A large and substantial mid to late 19th century rocking horse on safety stand, attributed to Paul Leach, the finely carved, gesso and painted dappled horse with pricked ears, flared nostrils and open mouth revealing teeth, the sharply offset head with one clear and black glass eye, real horse hair mane and tail, the body with outstretched legs on a partially painted safety stand, 150cm long
