A sculptural Victorian silver, silver-gilt and enamel freedom casket, of Welsh interest, hinged cover crested by the coat of arms of the City of Cardiff supported by dragons. profusely decorated with figures and attributes, architectural views, leeks, Prince of Wales Feathers and further national and allegorical emblems, the angles with masonic tools, 42cm wide, retailed by Barry & Sons, Cardiff, Horace Woodward & Co Ltd, London 1893, the substantial marble plinth 49cm wide, hand-scrivened presentation address en suite
