Bible, English King James Version - The Holy Bible [...] [issued with and bound at the front] The Book of Common Prayer [...] Together with the Psalter or Psalms of David [...], London: Printed by Charles Bill, 1703, [as well as] The Whole Book of Psalms [...], London: Printed by W.B. for the Company of Stationers, 1703, BCP with an etched portrait frontispiece of Queen Anne, the Bible with an architectural frontispiece engraved by John Sturt (1658-1730) and dated 1704, the first three separate title-pages black-ruled and enclosing a woodcut of the Royal Arms of Queen Anne, their text printed in open double-columns, the Bible with historiated initials at the opening of each book and further illustrated with full-page plates engraved by Richard Blome, The Whole Book of Psalms printed in open triple-columns and terminating on [L2] (the whole volume not examined or collated prior) - the two extant leaves of signature L have been repaired and have some losses, rebacked and repaired contemporary panelled red morocco gilt, later marbled endpapers and flyleaves, folio (34cm x 24cm), [1]

Provenance: 'This Booke (sic) was given by John Wellins to his Brother Edward Wellins [...]', inscribed, signed and dated John Wellins, 1708, in ink MS on the BCP frontispiece margin.
