A set of three George II Old Sheffield Plate ogee pedestal tea caddies, each chased in the rococo taste with cartouches, swags and flowers, the largest 17.5cm high, fitted shagreen caddy top case, 33cm wide, c.1755

The caddies in good original order, some bleeding on high points as expected, but are not re-plated or repaired. Construction seams visible.

Spoons associated and not matching, a gap where sugar bows would presumably have been

The case with no key, hasp missing, some scuffs and losses but structurally sound

Overall a nice object in untouched country house condition
