Victorian Pre 1881 Officers Helmet Tin named Lieut JC Bradshaw, 23rd Royal Welsh Fusiliers. Maker marked "FW Flight, Military Tailor, Winchester". Remains of LNWR railway luggage label to lid. First commisioned in 1861 with rank of Ensign, and served consistantly with the Regt. In 1871 he was serving in Newport in 1st Battalion, 23rd (Royal Welch Fusiliers) Regiment of Foot
