A 19th century Continental silver-gilt fitted gilt metal mounted boulle and ebonised serpentine dressing casket, hinged cover, the interior now comprehensively appointed with mirror, necessaire and an arrangement of toilet boxes, applied with a micro mosaic plaque depicting St Peter's Square, Rome, chased with scrolling foliage and applied with filigree, 40cm wide, the silver interior probably Italian or Maltese, c.1840 ***Please note that this lot may have been affected by flood water***
