Music, a mid-Victorian mother-of-pearl and tortoiseshell marquetry rectangular drawing-room photograph album, enclosing approx. 45 carte de visite portraits, including full-length images of the musical composers Franz Liszt (1811-1886) and Giacomo Rossini (1792-1868), both of which are unsigned, the whole prefixed by an indexed contents leaf numbered 1-50, some of the sitter have been removed, including Charles Dickens, morocco spine, black papier-mâché panel to verso, the whole restrained by a clasp, all-edges gilt, 8vo (15cm x 12.5cm), [1]
