A William IV Welsh flame mahogany longcase clock, 33.5cm arched painted dial inscribed Powell & Davies, Merthyr, Roman numerals, the arch painted with a timbered building, the centre with foxes, subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture, 8-day movement striking on a bell, the arched hood with brass eagle finials, rectangular door to waist flanked by canted angles, outlined throughout with boxwood and ebony stringing and geometric banding, 232cm high, c.1835
