A substantial Victorian Aesthetic Movement hall stand, outswept cornice above a central looking-glass, flanked by a mirrored arrangement of four fielded panels carved with foliate bosses above three plaques of frolicking putti, lotus-capped brass coat hooks throughout, the projecting base centred by a marble plateau above a long frieze drawer, the stand with three-quarter gallery housing provision for umbrellas and walking sticks in turned dishes, shelf undertier, bun feet, 214cm high, 137cm wide, c. 1880
