Provenance - Gifted to Dr Edmund Atkinson (The vendors father), by the artist's sister Peggy, for the care he provided to her brother Rev. Tyrell of Fishwater Vicarage. J A Parker was also Dr Edmund Atkinson's patient from 1939-1948.

The painting is framed and protected behind glass. The painted surface is not in contact with the glass.
To the top portion of the painting, in the sky area, there are some lines or scuff marks, the painting has rubbed against something at some stage and some small areas of paint have been removed, some small restoration required.

Some small areas of light crazing / craquelure, mostly to the white areas of the painting.
