The Derby plate particularly well-painted. Just a little surface surface. The gilding has some rubbed losses and surface wear. Touches of pitting and crazing, principally to verso and particularly light.

The other plates with various degrees of surface wear, scratches and rubbing; occasional crazing, sometimes stained; one blue plate with a hairline crack to the centre, the other with a flat rim chip to verso.
